Bethlehem College
Bethlehem College was prepared in 1970 when it was planning a private school run by Christian principles, and by 1999 it had operated as a private school and switched to the current semi-private school system.
It is a school where Christian education is based on all educational curriculum, teachers are Christians, and they regularly meet weekly to pray for schools and students. I personally believe that Christian families are Tauranga's school for children who dream about once.

Until now, students who lived in Bethlehem had to attend elementary schools in Bethlehem College, where expensive tuition was expensive, or to commute to the distant Otomoetai area, but now they have the option to go to Bethlehem's public schools. Immersive education for Maori language and culture is in operation. Since 2015, it is possible to attract international students, and the interest of international students has increased.

Founded in 1965, Matua Primary is located in the Matua region, 6 km from the city centre. Due to its close proximity to the Otomoetai Zone, the majority of students go to Otomoetai Inter. Although it was a policy that did not allow a large number of international students to enter, in recent years the number of international students has been steadily increasing.
