Aquinas College (Semi-Private School Years 7-13)
It is a Catholic semi-private secondary school located in Paispa area, about 15 minutes by car from the center of Tauranga. Although it is a new school established in 2003, it has modern facilities and a pleasant environment. The number of international students is around 15, and the data shows that the average academic performance of schools with financial independence of 8 or higher is higher than the average.

ACG Tauranga (Private School Years 7-13)
ACG is currently the only private school in Tauranga that is assessed through the Cambridge International Examinations (CIE). Therefore, the classes follow the Cambridge English curriculum and textbooks.
Located in Paispa, Tauranga, this Auckland-based school has several campuses in New Zealand and offers a self-study, academic-focused education, which results in high academic achievement.





Bethlehem College (Semi-Private School Years 7-13)
Opened as a private school in 1970, Bethlehem College is a semi-private school that converted to a public school in 1999. It is a school where the government controls the number of students and is popular as a Christian school, so you have to pass an entrance exam to be admitted. From kindergarten to college, they are gathered in one section, and this elementary school is also raising children well with the love and devotion of the teachers. As it was a private school, modern auxiliary facilities are available, and various educational facilities that are difficult to expect from general elementary schools are supported.





Katikati College (Years 7-13)
This school is located in Katikati, about 30 minutes from downtown Tauranga. About 20 new international students enter the school every year, but rather than attracting excessive international students, we limit the number of incoming students and actively manage/observe them to help them adjust to school life. Currently, there are no Korean students, but students who have been exposed to Korean popular culture are particularly favorable and interested in Korean students.





Mt Maunganui College
Established in 1958, it is a public college located in Mount Maunganui, a beautiful seaside area of present-day Tauranga. Based on the current NCEA scores, it is showing good grades among New Zealand schools every year. In particular, many international students from Europe, such as Germany, are entering the school.





Otumoetai College
Otumoetai College is a large community based co-education High School, where you can live with a New Zealand Family within walking distance of the school. We aim to add value to an International Students experience through active engagement in all school related experiences, both inside and outside of the classroom. St Peter's Cambridge Boarding School
Founded in 1936, New Zealand's premier private boarding school, St Peter's Cambridge, is not within Tauranga's city but has the closest boarding house, less than an hour's drive away. We support NCEA and IB courses, and most of the international students attending these schools are going on to prestigious overseas universities. For students with clear academic goals, they complete NCEA ahead of time and prepare for college with IB grades. So, studying both NCEA and IB is no joke, right? However, at the intermediate course and junior college level, they focus more on self-development through various human relationships and curriculum rather than the burden of learning, and enjoy various learning opportunities provided by the school.





Tauranga Boys' College
Founded in 1958, it is a school located in the heart of the city that boasts a long tradition as a boys' high school and has earned a national reputation. We operate a system in which classes are run according to grades according to admissions grades, and so-called honor class classes are maintained to provide necessary academic support for students with high academic expectations.
