Waikato Institute of Technology is a New Zealand university better known as Wintec.  Located in the Waikato region, Wintec offers more than 130 degree, certificate and certificate courses.  Wintec specializes in training for nurses, social workers, midwives, graphic designers, performing artists, engineers, trades, kindergarten teachers, gardeners, arborists and sports science.  Department levels range from 1 to 9, and through industry-university cooperation, various employment opportunities are provided after graduation.
